We have the most dynamic team of talented individuals on board and their goal is to be sure your trip is one that you will never forget! Captain
Mark Bailey

Mark is originally from New York. He was the captain of the Cat Ppalu for 6 years prior to leading the Aqua Cat team. He is also a PADI instructor. In the past, he has worked as a chef and aerobics instructor. He graduated from Dutchess College.


Captain
Ron McCaslin

Ron was captain of the Pirate's Lady (a Blackbeard Cruises vessel) for 8 years prior to leading the crew of the Aqua Cat. He is also a NAUI instuctor. Ron is from Richardson, TX. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Chemistry.


Captain
Des Greyling

Des is from South Africa. He began his career on the Aqua Cat in 2005 as a dive instructor. Previous to working on the Aqua Cat, Des was an instructor in South Africa and Thailand. He is now running as first mate!


Chef
Kirk Bell

Kirk joined the crew of the Aqua Cat 3 years ago. He is from Greenville, SC. He previously worked for Cruise West. His creations are incredible edibles! Be prepared to gain weight while on board...


Galley Assistant
Kelly Crespo

Kelly is from Lima, Peru. She has been working in the Bahamas for a year. Prior to this she traveled in South America. She recently finished chef's school.

Karina is from Lima, Peru.


Engineer
Chuck Herman

Chuck is from Buffalo, NY where he worked as a printer. He previously worked for Blackbeard Cruises & the Cat Ppalu as a chef, captain & engineer. He is our multi talented go to man!

Rudi Brendenkamp

Rudi is from Zimbabwe and is our resident sweetheart! As a teen, he was heavily involved in motorsports car rallying. Rudi completed his education in the UK with a diploma in engineering. Back in Zimbabwe, he owned his own trading company before embarking on his travels which took him to the Philippines prior to joining us on the Aqua Cat in August of 08. Besides scuba diving, Rudi enjoys skydiving as well. He speaks Afrikaans fluently and his accented English is wonderful to listen to! Rudi joined us as an instructor and is now in the bowels of the boat working as an engineer.

Chris Snell

Chris offers his assistance to passengers with a smile and a quick wit! He joined us this past March of 2008. He is British and worked in Utila prior to joining us. He is fluent in French too! He has traveled the world, including Thailand where he received his MSDT. He loves rock climbing, snowboarding and surfing.

Galley Assistant
Manon Trudel

Manon keeps things spic and span on ship with her tidy ways! She is originally from Montreal, Canada and of course speaks French and English. Her bright cheery smile is always a joy to see on board.

Geoff Murphy

Geoff joins us from Western Canada. he enjoys the warm waters of the Bahamas and sharing his knowledge of the ocean with passengers.
